IKEA shows off new array of solar lights

We leave home innovation, style and design to IKEA and IKEA always seems to come with cheap, fascinating designs that look good in any home. Like always IKEA has once again out done itself by revealing a new line of solar lights. Solar Lights have been available at IKEA for a while now but every year IKEA launches styles and trends for the upcoming season. So its line of Solar lights for the summer is on display now.

In a few weeks the new solar collection called SOLIG will be available in the IKEA stores. Inhabitat states that, “…All SOLIG lighting will feature solar cells able to transform sunlight into illuminating electricity. Each lighting fixture has been fashioned with LED bulbs that reduce their energy consumption by 70 percent while increasing bulb life at least four times longer than an incandescent bulb. The lamps also emulate popular IKEA designs, so there’s no need to fret over clashing décor. Priced from $9.99 for a solar powered light tube to $39.99 for a solar powered floor lamp, these pieces definitely won’t break the bank, and they’re sure to provide wonderful outdoor ambiance while keeping your electricity meter low.”

Everyone needs a cozy, well decorated, homely place to live in. If you have ever walked in an IKEA showroom you would have noticed that they do every effort to provide their customers with variety, fun and style. As the tech world moves towards Clean energy and Green design IKEA is a step ahead. Their solar lights collection has been available in their stores worldwide for some time now and each year they introduce new designs to cater to the changing needs and desires of their customers. This years designs are very chic and would definitely be a welcome addition in your home. Not only are these lights environmentally friendly they will add an aura of grandeur to your house.
